A prominent singer and oud player, Yohai was born and raised in Safed, Israel, to a family of immigrants from Morocco. He specializes in North African Jewish music in Hebrew and Arabic and has toured extensively across Morocco, the USA, Europe, and Australia, performing both solo and alongside notable musicians of the genre, such as Omar Metioui from Morocco and Rav Haim Louk from the Israeli Andalusian Orchestra.
